- American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics

of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American
Orthotic & Prosthetic Association, ABC provides the most
stringent credentialing standards for practitioners and facilities
delivering comprehensive orthotics and prosthetic services.
AOPA
- American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association
Founded in 1917, AOPA was the first national trade association
committed to providing high quality business support services
and products to O&P professionals and facilities.
ISPO
- International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics
An international multidisciplinary organization comprised
of persons who have a professional interest in the clinical,
educational and research aspects of prosthetics, orthotics,
rehabilitation, engineering and related topics.
NAAOP
- National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and
Prosthetics
NAAOP is an organization totally committed to addressing national
legislative issues of concern which impact the delivery of
high quality Orthotic and Prosthetic health care services.
NCOPE
- National Commission on Orthotic-Prosthetic Education
Founded in 1972, NCOPE became the first and only accreditation
body for credentialing orthotics and prosthetic (O&P),
university based education programs.
PFA

The not-for-profit organization representing professionals
involved in the field of pedorthics.
